This lovely cedar drone has a bright Alaskan yellow cedar spline. I have reduced the price a bit due to one of the tuning holes being filled on the back side of the drone, see picture below. This is just a minor visual flaw and doesn't effect the voice or durability of the flute at all.


Stellar Drone or "double" flutes are handmade out of western red cedar with a contrasting wood spline down the middle. They feature two blowholes so you can play them as a single or a double flute, and an optional drone side hole with a decorative plug so you can choose between two notes for the drone.

Drone flutes are a little harder to play because they are wider and take more air but most people can learn to play them with a little practice.
