This beautiful dark brown flute is made from a piece of American black walnut. It is hard and durable and has some weight behind it. The wood is full of color and character. This flute’s voice is deep and full with the smoky quality.
This flute is 29 3/4 inches long with a 1 1/4 inch bore diameter. It's 13 inches from the mouth end to the center of the first fingering hole. The fingering holes are clustered in sets of three to make them easier to play, with the first set being spaced 1 1/4 inches apart center to center and the second set being 1 1/2 inches apart center to center. there is a 2 inch gap between the first cluster of holes and the second.
