A Stellar flute kit is
a Stellar Native American style flute which
has been tuned but not yet shaped or finished. All
of our finished flutes are "kits" at one point. When
the flute is completed it will be a collaborative
project between the person who completes it and
Stellar Flutes. It is concert
tuned and is fully playable as it comes.
The "kit" is usually made from western red cedar,
which is
soft and easy to work and it even smells good.
The “kit” includes a pre tuned square flute, an
animal or unshaped totem and a leather strap to
secure the totem on the flutes.
